We are a group of families that speak German to our children. Our playgroup, which is especially suitable for pre-school children, meets once a week.
There are plenty of activities for everyone – dressing up, riding bikes, craft activities, reading German books, singing and lots of toys to play with. There are refreshments for the children and of course coffee and cake for the adults. We celebrate German festivals such as St Martin’s day and carnival and even have a German-speaking father Christmas that comes to the group.
We also organise evenings out to allow the adults to get together without the children and at the same time meet up with those who can not make it to the Monday afternoon playgroup.

In the summer holidays we meet at various playgrounds across Bristol.
When:
3.30 to 5.30 p.m. every Monday except Bank Holidays (we do meet in school holidays).
Cost:
£ 3.50 per session or £ 30 per term (11 to 13 weeks)
