The German Playgroup has a new home! We meet between 10 am and 12 noon at St. George Community Centre. The community centre is located between Church Road and St. George park. For further information please see their website at https://stgeorgecc.blogspot.nl/

img_1033 We are a group of families and carers who speak German to their children. Our playgroup meets every Monday. Everyone is welcome! We have children of  all age ranges but the group is most suitable for babies up to pre-school.

There are plenty of activities for everyone – dressing up, riding bikes, craft activities, reading German books, singing and lots of toys to play with. There are refreshments for the children and of course coffee and cake for the adults. We celebrate German festivals such as St Martin’s day and carnival and even have a German-speaking father Christmas who visits the group.

We also organise evenings out to allow the adults to get together without children and at the same time to meet up with those who can’t make it to the Monday afternoon playgroup sessions.
